You have the power to give variety and interest to your life. Do not let someone else impose his or her personal attitude and opinion on you. The freedom to grow and reach out and be all you want to be is within your power. Yes, I said your power! Stay away from “dream robbers,” as they take glory in evaporating our dreams. Their negative opinions can rob us of our enthusiasm, and create doubt in our own ability to achieve. Doubt brings fear and fear paralyzes our creative energy. Keeping our focus and refusing to be distracted is the first step toward realizing our life’s dreams. We all have dreams, and in order for them to become reality, we must first set our goals. Then, with work and determination, our dreams will become reality! Success is the result of accomplishing your predetermined personal and specific goals. Remember all great accomplishments began in the recesses of the mind-dreams! Your dreams! As soon as your mind’s eye saw the vision, it became a desire. After you wrote it down, it became a goal. Napoleon Hill tells us in his book Think and Grow Rich that seeing our personal goals in our mind is the first step to bringing our desires to fruition in our life!
1. Spend time alone to fully concentrate on the life you want for yourself. See and feel it as you mentally focus on your heart’s desire.
2. Write down everything you envision your life to be. Don’t be afraid, these are your dreams, not anyone else’s. They belong to you!
3. Live as though you already possess what you want.
4. Find someone you fully trust to help encourage and support you as you begin to build your new life.
5. Consider what knowledge you might need to acquire to help realize your dreams. Maybe you need the challenge of further education to bring your dreams to reality. The new fast track programs are wonderful in allowing us to get in, get the job done, and get out!
6. Put leverage on yourself by sharing your dreams with others. Once you actually verbalize your dreams and goals with others, you will be more compelled to accomplish them!
