Barbara is a licensed Board Certified Cosmetologist in both the state of Florida and Michigan. She is a Medical Esthetician and has worked for plastic surgeons, performing chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and manual lymphatic drainage massage. She is a Professional Makeup Artist and Permanent Makeup Technician. Barbara has authored several articles on the benefits of practicing good skin care, and is a sought after speaker for Women's Clubs and Seminars.

Barbara began her career studies at the International Dermal Institute attending classes in both New York and London. Her studies included: European Skin Care Techniques, Effective Skin Analysis, and Skin Care and Body Therapy. Barbara also trained under Eve Taylor of London, England in Clinical Aromatheraphy, Hildegard Wittlenger of Austria in Manual Lymph Drainage and Blending of Essential Oils from Michael Scholes of Aroma Vera. Barbara and Company International was founded in 1993 when Barbara created her own natural botanical skin care line "Skin Reverence".

Barbara's main goal was to formulate products that are result oriented, using the latest ingredients to find the perfect balance to treat and protect delicate skin. Her unique natural formulas deliver nutrients to the cellular level to renew and repair damaged skin. The products are formulated to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with natural ingredients that protect, repair and regenerate the skin.
